Come celebrate the first day of Spring and Spring Forward to Save Worrell Wayside.
Friends of Worrell Wayside Park are hosting an event on Sunday, March 20th to bring awareness to Deschutes County’s plans for the park.
To make the area more accessible and create more parking, major changes could be coming to Bill Worrell Wayside Park, the small hillside park that sits outside of the main Deschutes County administration building on Wall Street.
The Deschutes County Commission recently decided to move forward with finding a civil engineer to redesign the 1.29-acre park that sits in the middle of Deschutes County’s downtown campus parking lot.
Read additional coverage from The Bulletin about plans for the park here or watch this quick video from Deschutes County Commissioner Patty Adair to hear the alternative options for saving the park.
